At the heart of Laurence Litomi's work, The Icons brings together the great faces of cinema, music, fashion and history: Steve McQueen, Marilyn Monroe, Mick Jagger, Karl Lagerfeld, Brigitte Bardot, David Bowie… Each portrait is born from a dialogue between colour, which arrests the gaze, and the bare metal, which makes the face emerge. From this duality is born the "double-I" — that rare intimacy between the icon and the one who contemplates it. Hand-painted in natural pigments on brushed aluminium, each piece is unique and signed: a magnetic presence that transcends time.
